Studiolive 16.4.2

Conditions: New
Product code: 503815759
With a PreSonus StudioLive-series digital mixer, you not only get high-end sound and tremendous processing, mixing, and recording power, you can control all of this sonic might from virtually anywhere. Want to touch your mix with the physical feedback of real faders and rotary knobs and an intuitive, analog-like user interface? The StudioLive delivers big time; sound people who have only mixed with analog boards quickly become comfortable working with a StudioLive. Despite its analog-like mixing surface, however, this is very much a digital console, and it offers features no analog mixer—and very few digital boards—can match. For example, the ability to control the StudioLive mixer from a laptop adds tremendous flexibility and convenience—and with the bundled Virtual StudioLive bidirectional control/editor/librarian software, you get it all for free. Add third-party VPN software, and you can even control StudioLive mixers over the Internet—ideal for contractors. To get a competing mixer with computer control even close to this complete, you'd have to pay several times as much. So far, so good—if you work from the mixing station. But if you could also walk around a venue or recording studio and remain in control of your mixer using a wireless iPad, that would really be sweet! Done, with PreSonus' free StudioLive Remote for iPad. StudioLive Remote is easy to use, provides control of almost every feature of the StudioLive, and looks and feels like an iPad app should. We've given you a lot of sonic control with the StudioLive, Virtual StudioLive, and StudioLive Remote. It's only fair that we help you give the band control of their sound, too. With PreSonus' free QMix, each band member can control their own StudioLive aux (monitor) mix from an iPhone or iPod touch. You can even set permissions to ensure that the bass player, always the practical joker, can't mess with the hot-tempered lead singer's monitor mix. Otherwise, that bass player is going to get in trouble someday. We're just sayin'…. The level of control you get with PreSonus StudioLive-series mixers is beyond cool—it's absolutely ice! Now you can control your sound from anywhere you choose—no limits! Only with PreSonus StudioLive.

Presonus Audiobox 1818vsl
The flagship in PreSonus' new generation of USB 2.0 audio/MIDI interfaces, the AudioBox 1818VSL takes hardware/software integration to the next level and delivers a combination of features, audio quality, and value that is unprecedented in this product category. Using your computer CPU and PreSonus Virtual StudioLive™ (VSL) software, AudioBox VSL-series interfaces provide reverb and and delay effects and the same Fat Channel compression, limiting, semi-parametric EQ, and high-pass filter, as the PreSonus StudioLive™ 16.0.2 digital mixer— all with inaudible latency. It's a great choice for project studios, performing bands, school music labs, and a wide variety of corporate installations and other contractor applications. This is a pro product all the way, with high-end 24-bit, 96 kHz converters; Class A XMAX™ preamps; ADAT optical I/O; S/PDIF coaxial I/O; word-clock output; and MIDI I/O, housed in a heavy-duty, rack-mount metal chassis. Furthermore, thanks to the power of VSL, the AudioBox 1818VSL includes a 26x8 software mixer. As a result, with just an AudioBox 1818VSL and your laptop or other computer, you can mix a studio session or live show featuring a full band—all while monitoring and recording with or without real-time processing! And you can do it simply and easily, with no hardware mixer, no outboard effects rack, and minimal wiring, thanks to the tight integration between PreSonus hardware and software. What's so great about effects and processing on monitors? Tracking without hearing effects and signal processing is like playing a video game with your eyes closed. Musicians rely on aural cues when performing, and their performance can vary depending on what they hear in their monitors. Adding just the right amount of compression, EQ, and reverb can make a huge difference in their ability to hear themselves clearly and to experience their performance as if it occurred in a natural space rather than in the artificial sonic environment of the studio. The result is a better performance and ultimately a better recording. You have plenty of effects plug-ins for your DAW, but processing audio with a DAW takes more time than you might think. True, we're talking milliseconds, but it's long enough that if you put DAW effects in your studio monitors, you'll hear the original sound slightly before the processed signal, which is very disorienting. That much delay might be acceptable for live gigs, where the band is playing together in an ambient space that has natural delay. But you can't record that way in the studio. Fortunately, our engineering wizards have dramatically reduced processing delay in the AudioBox VSL series. The result: dynamics processing, EQ, reverb, and effects that feel real, with no audible delay. And if you like what you hear, you can record with AudioBox VSL-series effects, too! These are the same high-quality StudioLive 16.0.2 Fat Channel dynamics processors and EQs that professional musicians, engineers, and producers record with every day. Great processors are a PreSonus tradition We didn't invent the first audio interface with effects. We simply did it better and for less money. Sure, some interface manufacturers that don't normally make signal processors have added a compressor, EQ and a few effects to their interfaces. But the AudioBox VSL series provides all that, plus a separate limiter, expander, and high-pass filter—and we've been making high-quality signal processors since 1995. The AudioBox VSL-series' Virtual StudioLive (VSL)-based effects and Fat Channel processing have been extensively field-tested and proven popular by tens of thousands of StudioLive™-series mixer users, including many top professionals. Of great importance, thanks to VSL's drag-and-drop convenience, adding processing and creating and loading presets is easy. Pro-level processing and superior ease of use mean you'll get better results and have more fun! High-end sound in a versatile, roadworthy interface Versatile and portable, the AudioBox 1818VSL offers 2 convenient front-panel mic/instrument combo inputs and 6 front-panel mic/instrument combo inputs, true 48V phantom power (switchable in 2 banks), and 8 line-level outputs. ADAT optical I/O provides 8 more channels of input and output (at 44.1 or 48 kHz; 4 channels at 88.1 or 96 kHz). S/PDIF coaxial digital I/O adds 2 more channels, bringing the total to 18 audio input channels and 18 output channels. The sound is pure PreSonus, with the same high-headroom, Class A solid-state XMAX preamps found in our StudioLive mixers and high-quality, 24-bit, 96 kHz converters with 114 dB dynamic range for clear, clean audio. And it boasts PreSonus' legendary 120 mW headphone output, which is loud enough to explode the oysters in a Po'-Boy sandwich. (Be careful with your level control!) The superior sound of PreSonus preamplifiers has long been a major reason that so many audio professionals prefer PreSonus interfaces. The XMAX is the finest solid-state preamplifier we make, offering three key advantages: 1. High Voltage. The XMAX preamplifier runs on power rails of 30V. Most off-the-shelf, op-amp-based designs run on power rails of 10V to 18V. Higher-voltage power rails deliver more headroom, deeper lows, smoother highs, and a richer overall sound. 2. Discrete components — not op-amps. We only use genuine transistors, resistors, and capacitors for ultra-low noise and transparency. Op-amps add noise, coloration, and harshness to a signal. 3. Class A circuitry. Class A circuits have no crossover distortion and deliver purer, clearer, and more musical results than the Class AB designs that are found in many preamps. The net result of the XMAX preamp design is high headroom, low noise, wide dynamic range, extended frequency response, and—most important—musicality and transparency, with smooth highs; solid, deep lows; and everything in between. Built for the rigors of the road Pause and ponder this for a moment: a great-sounding 18x18 interface with a computer-based mixer and full complement of dynamics processing and EQ, with reverb and delay effects on dedicated buses, plus MIDI and word clock, all in a single rackspace! And there's more. The flexibility and power of software VSL enables you to easily manage the processing and mixing from your Mac® or Windows® PC and provides editor/librarian functions, making it simple to create and use a library of presets. To get you started, we've included the same library of more than 50 Fat Channel presets that comes with StudioLive mixers. These presets were created by professional musicians and engineers and let you instantly set up dynamics processing and EQ for vocals, guitar, and much more. Seamlessly integrated with the included Studio One™ Artist DAW and VSL, the AudioBox 1818VSL interface works with virtually all Mac and Windows audio-recording software. And unlike most things nowadays, it's very easy on your budget. So get down to your PreSonus dealer and check out the AudioBox 1818VSL: the next-generation USB 2.0 interface that gives you extensive I/O, including eight analog inputs and outputs; ADAT optical and S/PDIF digital input and outputs; real-time, low-latency processing and effects; word-clock output; rock-solid construction; software mixing; and high-end audio—all for a price you have to see to believe!

Presonus ADL600
We make some very good tube preamps, and we are confident that you enjoy using them. But the ADL 600 is at another level. Rumor has it that some people are willing to sell their left eyeball to get one. And while we don’t accept eyeballs as payment, we do agree that the ADL 600 is the finest tube preamp money can buy. Not the finest for the price. The finest—period. Designed by famed tube-circuit designer Anthony DeMaria, the ADL 600 employs a distinctive Class A, discrete design with three military-grade vacuum tubes per channel, operating with ±300V power rails for maximum headroom and superb tone. The dual-transformer design also ensures low-noise operation, with maximum common-mode rejection. We use only the finest components, including switched attenuators, analog VU and LED meters, and custom-designed, proprietary transformers. There are no op-amps or ICs in the signal path. We went high-end all the way, right down to the last polypropylene film capacitor. The result is an ultra-low-noise tube preamp with a big, warm, smooth, clear, distinctive sound. It produces big, smooth, and articulate vocals; deep and tight bass guitars; and rich, full mixes. It makes virtually anything you run through it sound better. Maximum Flexibility Beyond superb sound quality, the ADL 600 is special because of its ease of use and flexibility. Each of the two input channels has mic, line, and instrument inputs, and you can select among four mic-input impedances, so the preamp works great with any type of microphone. The high-pass filter employs a rotary switch with three filter settings (40 Hz, 80 Hz, and 120 Hz at 6 dB/octave) for controlling room rumble and low-frequency noise. The input-gain attenuator is a military-grade rotary switch that provides 5 dB stepped increments and a total preamplifier gain of over 73 dB. The output stage is controlled by a fully variable attenuator that delivers ±10 dB of fine-tune trim adjustment, enabling you to dial in the perfect gain structure for any application. And of course, you get 48V phantom power and a 20 dB pad, controlled by big, sturdy, military-grade switches. We didn’t skimp on metering either. Fast-acting, eight-segment LED meters accurately detect fast transients and peaks. Large, backlit analog VU meters display output levels, and a -6 dB switch lets you meter particularly hot signals. Technical explanations are well and nice, but hearing is believing. Try the ADL 600 yourself and experience the thrill of using the world’s finest tube preamp. That will tell you all you need to know.
