The F-512 Maple features a select solid Sitka spruce top, solid flamed maple arched back and maple sides, the neck is mahogany (C profile) with walnut center bracing, the guitar scale is 651mm, the 48 mm nut is made of bone like the crossbar.
Produced on the bow press in the Guild factory since 1985, the F-512 Maple delivers crisp, clear highs and an articulate mid-range that's perfect for a harp-style sound.
The bracing is in Adirondack spruce to increase the sound projection of the instrument.
This model produces bright highs (thanks to the maple) defined mids and a warm, full-bodied low response that make it one of the most recognizable Guild 12-strings of all time.
The elegant finishes include the classic Guild "V-block" inlays on an Ebony fingerboard, open and gilded Gotoh SE701 hardware and tuners, and a beautiful natural glossy nitrocellulose lacquer finish completes the build qualities that make it one of the most interesting 12 - house Guild strings.
