10" Brazilian pandeiro, 1 3/4" deep shell. The shell is lightweight to reduce hand fatigue and foster the intricate, sustained rhythms required of this typical samba instrument. Also promoting comfort is a special smoothing of the interior shell. Heads are attractive black synthetics, offset nicely by chrome hardware. 6 tuning screws are well-spaced to accommodate various hand sizes and to fix head tension securely. 5 sets of melodious, dry jingles produce the signature Brazilian Pandeiro tone. A carrying bag is also included.
