Utilizing the unique two-layer construction that combines an Evans ShockWeave mesh upper film with innovative Snare Sim Technology, the dB One snare head is able to transform impact energy into sonic vibrations by simulating the response of the snare wire, but with a very minimal volume. The Evans dB One snare mesh head allows you to add or remove the standard snare wire to modify the snare response to suit your needs. For quieter drumming, remove the snare wire to eliminate vibrations typical of steel wires. The resonant head can also be tuned within a range of snare drum tones, to give you the ability to control your sound even at a very low volume and practice wherever and whenever you want.
